Moms, brothers and all other family members are welcome to this Family Campout and finale to our season. Surrounded by the beauty of the San Jacinto mountains, Lake Hemet offers camping near the lakeshore. Great for biking, hiking, fishing and boating! Let's celebrate our season finale!
Easy for new dads and daughters to attend; easy commute, affordable, accessible bathrooms and free mini golf! We’ll do the transition between Coyote leadership during Coyote Fire. All girls who would have bounced are encouraged to attend (all season, for as much as they want - the Y is not caring about age limits so girls can get what they missed out on from covid).
Another one our favorite campgrounds. We'll be holding our annual Pinewood Derby!
Mataguay is just off Hwy 79, near Warner Springs. A small year-round river runs through the campground. Tall shady oak trees and large grassy meadows for group activities surround Mataguay. Archery, bb range, canoeing, catch and release fishing and hiking.
A fun new place to try out. Affordable, close and tons of activities. Friday is national chili day, maybe we’ll have a cook off?
Such an awesome campout in the Anza Borrego desert! It’s a great time of year to go too, with mild heat in the day and cool evenings. Two swimming pools for kids, great for bikes, and scrambling boulders all over the place. On Saturday we take a short drive together into Arroyo Tapiado to explore the mud caves. Definitely don’t miss this one.
Leave the tents at home, this is our cabin camping trip. Camp Marston is owned by the YMCA and we get large cabins with several rooms of bunk beds, bathrooms with showers and a common room with couches to hangout. Activities galore! Kayaking on the pond, archery, bb rifle range, candle making, rock climbing towers, soccer field, basketball courts and more. This one is a little more expensive with the full accommodations, but all meals and dishes are covered by their on site cafeteria staff – along with the 24hr hot chocolate and latte machine frequented on cold nights. Glamp it up!
We're finally trying out this place, I mean we are Coyote - right? These tribal lands are home to the highest point in San Diego county, with beautiful pristine scenery, no sound or fire restrictions, and the tribe offers to talk to the girls about their culture. To be aware: there are no hookups for water or electricity and the Y will have port-a-potties delivered.
